1/35 Fukuiraptor

The Fukuiraptor was a fascinating carnivorous dinosaur that is believed to have lived approximately 120 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous period, in what is now present-day Fukui on the northern coast of Japan. This agile predator measured around 4.7 meters in length and was equipped with sharp teeth and powerful claws, making it well-suited for hunting. Its relatively lightweight build and strong limbs suggest it was both fast and efficient in capturing prey.

Thanks to the close cooperation of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and the Faculty of Dinosaur Paleontology at Fukui Prefectural University, this model has been carefully and realistically recreated with a strong emphasis on scientific accuracy. Every detail, from the body proportions to the texture of the skin, has been designed to reflect the latest paleontological research.

What color was Fukuiraptor?

Unfortunately, there is no evidence in the fossil record regarding its color, but we can refer to its distant relatives in the modern day, and there are plenty of ideas in reference materials both printed and electronic. Think about the environment it lived in, too! Tamiya Color paint products are recommended.

About the Model
• This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 118mm (approximate).

• The distinctive slim body with short forelegs and long hind legs is faithfully recreated based on extensive research at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and under supervision of the Fukui Prefectural University.

Simply cut the parts off their sprue and fit them together. No cement is needed!	Start with the body and assemble the model from there.	The arms and hind legs go in with satisfying fitment.
